Are USA and Iran heading towards a nuclear/cyber war?

It has been nearly 6 days of the USA Iran conflict and the situations are still not in control. With the downing of an RQ-4A Global Hawk drone, Iran started a new conflict . Iran and USA have constantly been on a verge of war by USA's withdrawal from the nuclear treaty signed between USA and Iran but this time Iran gave a chance to America to conduct a direct military attack on Iran. 

Although Donald Trump called off the attack against Iran just ten minutes before the operation giving an extremely ironical excuse, that he called off the operation because he was informed that a lot of civilians would die after this attack  but the truth is that general elections in USA  are coming soon and Donald Trump won the elections last time by saying that he would not make USA enter in any war until and unless required but the point still remains the same that is, is the world is on the verge of seeing a nuclear war ? But Iran is also equally responsible for this tense situation .

Technically Iran has no weapon which has a range to attack USA but Iran can certainly attack US troops deployed in the middle east region and some allies of USA like Israel. But Israel is capable of defeating Iran and all other countries in the gulf region alone without any help that we saw in 6 day war.With 523 thousand  active army personnel in their army Iran's army is 14th most powerful army in the world . Although Iran stands no where in front of USA in terms of direct of combat but America is also unwilling to indulge into any kind of direct war against Iran . USA is trying to compel Iran by economic sanctions . USA also knows that having a direct war with Iran can cost them a great economic depression and the Iranian air force is also capable of conducting strikes on United states main land. The final conclusion is that USA also knows that a war with Iran would be foolish step. Maximum USA can conduct air strike or some missile attacks (probably not nuclear) on Iran but  this could provoke Iran to enter a full fledged war against USA .Which can give rise to WWIII.
